*The waxed canvas shell gives you the durability you want, a natural, eco-friendly water-resistant material. Because of its wax coating it takes a beating but keeps getting better with age. 
*Layer 2 is a Ripstop Nylon, wind resistant, breathable with a durable Water Repellant finish. 
*Layer 3 is 10.5 oz of Climashield APEX, this insulation is the lightest and most thermally efficient synthetic insulation. Maintaining warmth even in wet and damp conditions, all while keeping the heat in and the elements out. 
*Layer 4 finishes the mitt with Polartec WindPro, a strong tightly knit fleece keeps wind out but soft where it counts. 
*The palm of the mitts are made of genuine Hermann Oak Heritage 1881 Water-Repellent Leather. This special leather is infused with silicone when tanned to ensure the leather will never lose its waterproof qualities!
*2 layers of Polartec 100 line the palm of the mitts keeping you warm but not adding unnecessary bulk so your able to preform more tasks without removing your mitts.
*Over sized to accommodate wearing a light weight glove with the mitts. The extra long cuff slips over your jacket sleeve to keep you warmer.
